HardbodyPaul - I see, Zee. You're right, one has to train specifically for powerlifing. How many reps do you do per set with poundage in the 275-300 range? Do you take most set so failure?
Pitbull - most of the better women in my weight class are doing closer to 500 in the squat now..powerlifters that is
Pitbull - to failure I do about 10-12 reps
HardbodyPaul - I usually do set within the 5-8 reps range. It's hard for me to go above 10 reps, as I do not train that way, and haven't for years.
Pitbull - my big thing is now doing leg presses for 25-30 reps with 450-500 lbs
HardbodyPaul - Well, 12 reps with 300 lbs. is nothing to sneeze at either! Very impressive, Zee.
Pitbull - for fighting it is best for the enduarance
HardbodyPaul - You should be getting some serious definition in you legs with doing that many reps, Zee.
