Chuck - Me 44...I played fast-pitch for a while...dp's are real tough with sixty ft. bases..same as little league but grown-ups running...need a real sharply hit ball to ven have a chance
sub - yeah, most DP's are hit right near second base, with no transfer
Chuck - short is a little easier than 2nd for the dp..cause youre coming into the bag across towards first...I know I could help you...Having a partner you know well helps immensely too

sub - yes, you have to know where to expect the ball so you can think about feet
Chuck - its all timing, believe me...half the battle
Chuck - plus, as you said...knowing your partners moves and getting the ball consistently in a place you can handle it

sub - usually the 2b-man is a poor player with no arm in those type of leagues
Chuck - I played 3 years in high school with the same SS...he was a good ballplayer...We knew each other really well...we were a bitch...for high school
